READING SCHEDULE – One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest

This novel does not have chapters but does contain breaks in the narrative. At the end of each break – write in your book or on a post-it what 3 to 5 key occurrences or ideas were significant in that section. I will spot-check your work here for homework grades. There are 4 Parts to this novel. We will be dividing our reading up according to the schedule below. Your primary work outside of class for this unit will be to read the novel and participate in occasional online discussion. I will often – as much as possible – give you some time in class to read as well. As such, you should have your book with you every day. Having your book every day in class will result in 3 pts of extra credit at the end of this unit. [If you bring a source for our board – that could be 5 EC pts!]
